Joy Overstreet completed the feng shui certification training in 2001 with Terah Kathryn Collins at the Western School of Feng Shui in San Diego. She has also studied with Holly Tashian of Nashville Essential Feng Shui. Practical Feng Shui combines eastern philosophy  and western practicalities. She studied color with Personal Style Counselors in Oakland CA.

Joy teaches classes at Clark College in Vancouver WA and at Lizzabeth A in Camas,  and for private client groups. She also writes a monthly "Designer's Eye" column on Feng Shui for the Columbian newspaper.
